Beautiful Sunsets

I have a bad habit of taking pictures of sunsets.

Okay I lied, it's not a bad habit. It's a good one. But I love doing it.

Here are some absolutely gorgeous sunsets, and the canyon which is just about my backyard makes it so much better!

The Nutcracker

So, I was in a play last night. It was sooo fun! But I am so MAD! I forgot to bring my camera!!!! >(>(>(>( So angry! But anyways, some of my really good friends were in it, including friends that I made there. I was Princess Pirlipat, better known as the Sugar Plum Princess. My new friend Andrae was the Nutcracker (Aubs, you know all about that, dontcha!:), Brianna, my good friend and who is the little sister of one of my bestest friends, was Clara, Sasha, Aundrae's little brother and who's also my new friend, was Fritz, Clara's little brother, and Anave Dixon was Fritz's little sister, Hannah. Jaxson, who is one of the funniest people on earth, was a teddy bear, Captain Sergeant....let's see.......Also Alexa, my friend from that and also from homeschool, was the Godmother Drosslmeier, Alexis, also my new friend, was the Mouse Queen....Jessie was a doll, Madame Marie. Jaycie, Jaxsons little sister and who has been my friend for a while, was the Nanny...Jaxsons other two little absolutely adorable sisters, especialle Kennedy, were toys as well. All in all it was a really fun play! A few of my old friends were there (by old I mean not the new ones :), like Kristen, Barrett, Mckenzie, Emily, Uriah, and a couple from Key of Liberty. I only forgot one line, that wasn't too bad though. Someone covered up for me. But it was a lot of fun! :D I can't wait to do it again next semester!!! I'll try and find some pictures that hopefully my parents took and that probably some of my friends took, and I'll post them!!! I absolutely love the dress I wore, it was soooo pretty! It was this light pink one with a pink robe-like thing. I'll try and get a picture, it's one of the prettiest dresses ever! And even better, my mom made it!!! :D

Christmas

I am so ready for Christmas to begin! Poor Thanksgiving, she's being a little over-looked as far as decorations go, but hey we are having a bunch of people over for her, so.....she shouldn't feel too bad. But I say if it's going to be so cold there'd better be snow on the ground!!! >( I really want it to snow a ton because you know my cousins from Texas are coming down, and Texas gets like no snow......they came last year and there was a bunch of snow, so that was suuuper fun. I just really wish it will SNOW already!!!! But the lights are up on the house, we have a few big decorations up, I have all my Christmas music in Violin, Piano, and Voice, and our stereo in the house has been playing Christmas CD's for a long time....I AM READY FOR THE SEASON TO BEGIN!!!! I can't wait for Christmas, and it's not just because of the presents. It's just the whole feeling in the air! It's so beautiful! I CAN'T WAIT!

Randomly Serious

Do you ever feel like when you walk in to a classroom and none of your friends are in there? And then you don't know where to sit? Isn't that just awkward? And then you don't want to go sit by that cute guy, but you don't want to go sit by the people you know best in there because you're afraid of what other people might think....

Well, people, it doesn't matter! Who cares what people think about you just as long as you're you! I've been having problems with not caring about what people think, but I'm much better than I used to be! Just don't care! You have no idea how easier it makes life if you just go out there and think of others and be yourself. It's really the best feeling you could ask for. It doesn't matter what people think about you, because anyways they probably have no room to judge you because they probably have problems of their own too.

That's another thing. Don't judge! You have no idea what people are going through in their life. And anyways, like I said you're probably judging them about the same things that you do! You might be this person:

Songwriting

You guys would not believe what happened to me earlier today! Okay, so I have 3 songs that I've written, one's very rough and not I'm currently writing my 4th song. So, I've been trying to find places on the Internet where I can put out my songs to see what people think of them, and I found this one place, Paramount Song Publishing. I sent them my lyrics, but now I realize that they're not the best because they'll take your lyrics (by take I mean use them with my permission) and record them. Sounds good, right? Wrong. They said, after I asked, that they can't schedule a time for me to come in a personally be there. :( And I want to be the one singing my songs if they're going to be on the radio! So anyways, on the way to voice lessons this morning I was telling my mom all about it. I asked her if I should play and sing them for Lori, my voice teacher, and she said yes I should. The reason I never sent in a recording of me singing my songs to Paramount is because I'm scared and I don't think I have a good enough voice yet. So anyways, I played them for Lori, the first person I've played these songs for, and she loved them! :D It made my day. And then I told her about the situation with Paramount, and she was like well hey I know this kid, Kaleb Colinson, and he's up there in all the music business. I can facebook him about you and your songs, and give him your email. He's more Christian type music but he has a lot of contacts, so do you want me to do that? And I was like YESYESYES!!!!!! Isn't that so cool?! He's even from here!! Lori said that he, Lori, and this other girl that's local wrote this broadway sort of deal, and they're going to preform it at Ellis Island this next march, so obviously he's really good!! I am SO DANG EXCITED and he hasn't emailed me but hey I just talked to Lori this morning!! I am so excited! Hahah just know guys that one of your best friends might be a celebrity one day!! And I will still love and hang out with all of you! But I'm getting ahead of myself. Just please, if I do get my songs on the radio, please please please treat me the same! But that guy probably doesn't even know about me yet, but if anything else exciting happens I'll be sure to let you know!!
